Lily eats an Apple

Lily has been trying new foods and we couldn't be prouder. She was always good with playing with the food and trying to eat everything else that wasn't food so we were a bit worried. She was sitting on Mommy's lap the other day and just starting eating a french fry. But come on, even a 10 month old can figure out that french fries are totally delicious. Although, its probably best to get her on better habits than her parents. It seems like she is on track with this video.....would NOT leave me alone while I ate this apple.

Karen, Matthew and Patrick Visit Lily (and more!)

So it seems that Matthew and Patrick had a great time down here while Karen didn't do anything since she isn't in any pictures. It must mean she was working very hard having fun with Lily. Thanks Karen!!

Ok, so Uncle Mike got tickets to go to the White House to see the Pope. Apparently he got them from his job. Weird. I still don't have many details as I was traveling for work. I am going to go with the idea that Mike is really a top secret agent. Sure, yes, a top secret agent.

Matthew was pretty infatuated with the Pope...mobile. I am sure he felt the divine glory as well Patrick and Karen felt pretty cool being so close instead of standing on the street with all those other Catholics. Fun stuff.

Anywho, they got to go see the Pope but left Lily home with the babysitter since they knew it would be crazy. AND there is no way they wanted Lily around Newt Gingrich (back of head seen below).

Anson's hilarious letter to Lily

Sorry, but this was to perfect. Cousin Anson "wrote" a letter to Baby Lily. Grandma Judy gave it to her and Lily looked at it like she was reading it intently and then laughed hysterically after reading it.
Almost as if to say..."Oh, that Anson, he sure knows how to tell it like it is."

Grandma Judy comes to town!

Grandma Judy came to town to visit and Lily couldn't be happier! Well, she is pretty happy but I will give my Mom some credit. Lily saw her and it was almost liked she remembered her, giving her a big smile. Grandma Judy has now seen her say "Mamammamama" which obviously means Mama and "Sheeshee" which obviously means Stacey. I said..OBVIOUSLY. She first said Dada clear as can be so now she is definitely saying Mama AND Stacey. Don't argue with me.

Mama got to work from home so they went to the park at lunch. Fun stuff! I now see what my life will be like since a woman came up to me and said..."Is that Lily?"

Here are some great photos.....

Edelstein Outing...

Had a great Saturday with the Edelstein's on Saturday! We took quite a few pictures and the Edelstein's seem to understand how a picture works...Lily, not so much. We went to their hang out, the Building Museum, which is really a great place for kids to hang. Jake and Sadie are so different now! Great kids. Lily had a blast just staring at them. They are really cute with "Baby Lily" and Jake even brought his cars to share with her.
