Dada's new scooter!

So Dada got a new "dada" as Lily calls it. The old one had to retire...or blow up on Dada's way to work. Well, we finally went out and got a great one and the family is excited! Check it out!

Lily at the pool!

This was probably one of the most fun days of the summer. Lily loves this pool. We met some friends (with 4 kids and one on the way!) at their pool in Silver Spring. It was perfect for Lily since she could walk around in the pool on her own terms. She was the happiest kid in the world. I said that if she kept smiling, her cheeks would hurt! She was in perma-grin mode the whole day. Thanks to the Smith's for such a good time!

Karen, Matthew and Patrick's Visit

It was a quick, but fun visit, for Karen and the boys. Here are some pictures from our picnic at the Cathedral.

We sometimes forget that we have this incredible "playground" with the Cathedral. Its got a great place for Lily to run on the grass and gardens to explore with this jaw dropping structural background. We have been taking advantage of it the past few weekends so here are some pics from just the family...

Grandma Judy and Lily's week of fun!

Hello Grandma Judy! Grandma Judy came down for a week to watch Lily while Grandma (Barbara) is sadly missed while she is at school. Grandma J was good at keeping up with Barbara's schedule which is to go out as much as possible. Lots of walks and the park every day! Grandma Judy even got a special day at the zoo (sorry no pictures) when the baby elephant was getting a bath! Allegedly they do that every Saturday morning for DC parents out there.

Grandma Judy's last day...walking in and around the cathedral. The fountain was a lot of fun for Lily although she now wants to get into every pool of water she sees. No matter how dirty it looks.

Sundays with Daddy

After Daddy and Mommy got back from the Nat's game and had a fun late afternoon letting her splash around and "ride" Daddy's scooter. Daddy needed some cooling off too....
