Lily plays with Mommy after her work day...

Ummm, this is just wrong...get your facts straight!

Phone Pictures (sorry about the quality)....

That Lily...she sure is somethin'....

Apparently Lily's site has been tagged as a "bad" site by a certain General Service Govt. Agency...and CERTAIN people don't have access to it. Yet, I still put a bath picture of naked Lily on the site...weird. Well she is just too cute.

This is Lily looking admirably at her Daddy as we give her a bath last night. Dang-she sure does love that thing. We try to give her one at least every other night since she likes it so much. I would assume she takes after her Mommy and not her stinky Daddy in that regard. ( :

Random inquisitive look. Please ignore the kegerator in the back. Its empty and only holds formula now....(Rrrrrrright).

I am trying to figure out who she looks like. She has HUGE eyes and she constantly looks scared. Hey wait, maybe she is? With parents like us, she should be... ( :

Luckily, Nana (..Grandma Barbara... Bubbe...yet to be determined by Lily) has started her day time job as Lily's caretaker. She has been doing a GREAT job and reads to her daily. Work has been great and it makes me all the more excited to get back to Lily at night.

Ballerina Lily and other news....

Pay no attention to that (wo)man behind the curtain

Here are our favorite pictures of Lily in her new tutu! OK, so Aunt Karen and Mommy had more fun than Lily. Aunt Karen hummed the nutcracker as Mommy tried to take Lily's picture while Mommy laughed so hard. Thanks to Anna for the new toy!

In other news....
Lily has a tooth coming in!! Yes, its crazy but its a small bud that we can see coming to the surface. According to BabyCenter, the vast majority of babies sprout their first tooth between 4 and 7 months of age but if your baby's an early developer, you may see her first white cap (usually one of the bottom middle teeth) as early as 3 months. Lily is 2 months and almost two weeks old....just saying. Yes, we are quite impressed, yet NOT surprised. Apparently she takes after her father-- Jabberjaw (shown below) who had to have 12 and a half teeth removed when he was a kid . For those that don't know, all sharks have multiple rows of teeth.

There might be a smile in there...

Lily with a....Lily

Ok, mommy is quite proud of these pretty pictures. Get it...its TWO Lilies. She was quite enthralled with the flower actually.......

If you look closely, this is Lily's first real grasp all by herself. In fact, Ryan (father of two) was just saying that in the next few weeks she would be able to grab things on her own. After watching Sadie grab her own foot, I was quite impressed. We will never hope so big for Lily to grab her own foot....have you seen those dogs??!? Maybe she can grab a small toy or something.

Doctor Update: Lily now weighs in at 10 pounds 7 ounces and is 22 3/4 inches long. This means she is in the 50th percentile for weight and 97 percentile for length. Long and lean. It must be all that work on the treadmill.

She also had 5 STINKIN SHOTS!!! She was an amazingly strong little girl and it only took Mommy a few moments to calm her down and then she was down for the count the entire day.
Here are her cute band aids. Ahhh, Tweety, how consoling you can truly be...
